Holy Spirit Catholic School is the only school in Pocatello to have Accelerated Reader Enterprise which gives our students access to over 100,000 quizzes.  Students can also take Literacy and Vocabulary quizzes.  Our students who are just beginning to read have access to hundreds of voice recorded quizzes enabling them to be independent with their quiz taking.

 

Holy Spirit Catholic School teachers and the librarian make every effort to use Accelerated Reader in a positive, exciting manner.  Our goal is to help our children become better readers but most important of all we want them to LOVE reading!

 

Do you want to see what level a book is and how many points it is worth?  Just log on to http://www.renlearn.com and go to “order quizzes” on the left side of the screen.  You can search by author, title, series or award winning books.  An advanced search allows you to search by topic, interest level, book level, AR points, fiction, nonfiction, language, publisher or recently released.

 

When you have clicked on order quizzes take a moment and select the violet highlighted box that says “Learn about new Reading Renaissance goal-setting recommendations.”  It is most informative and important to understand when using Accelerated Reader.  Elsewhere on this screen are featured books with newly available quizzes.
