 The
Holy Spirit Jr. High students are proud to sell Earth Friendly Coffee and help the
worldwide efforts for social justice.
Earth Friendly Coffee is a participant in the Catholic Relief Services Fair Trade organization. Earth Friendly Coffee visits remote coffee growing communities and works with small farmers who often live in extreme poverty. These small farms produce wonderful coffee and by paying a “fair trade” price all of us who purchase the coffee can make a difference in the lives of these poor rural farmers. Thank you for considering the HSCS 6th grade class fundraiser. Your coffee order will make it possible for our students to participate in the FIRST LEGO League program.
Can FIRST® LEGO® League Teams improve our quality of life? Through the 2010 Body Forward™ Challenge, 9 to 14 year olds* will explore the cutting-edge world of Biomedical Engineering to discover innovative ways to repair injuries, overcome genetic predispositions, and maximize the body's potential, with the intended purpose of leading happier and healthier lives.
