Nan-o-gram

As we wind down the last few days of this school year, on behalf of all the staff, I want to thank you for your support, prayers and encouraging words throughout these many months. Our students once again have had a stellar year, academically and spiritually!

I want to remind you that the PTC sponsored end-of-the-year barbeque next Wednesday evening will also be your way to say ‘Happy Retirement’ and thanks bunches to Barbara McAdam, affectionately known as Bakin’ Barb. Good food, good company, May raffle drawing and the PTC informational wrap up…hope to see you all there!

Thanks again for another fantastic school year, and have a wonderful, safe summer. God bless you all.

Keep reading to your kids!

END OF YEAR BAR-B-Q

Wednesday, March 28 is the date for the “End of the Year Bar-b-q.”  All our families are invited to attend as you –The Parent Teacher Club – are sponsoring it!  The PTC will provide the hamburgers.  Families are asked to help with the following:  families whose last name start with A-I should plan on bringing a dessert, families whose last name start with J-O should plan on bringing chips, fruit, vegetables, and families whose last name starts with P-Z should bring salads.  If you would like to drink something other than water, you will need o provide a non-alcoholic beverage for yourself as we will be providing water only.

This year’s bar-b-que will be a little different than in the past as it will also be a “farewell party” for Mrs. Betty, Miss Angela and Bakin’ Barb.  These ladies have been such an integral part of the school that we hope you can stop by to wish them well and to say “thanks.”  The fun begins at 6:00 on the school playground.

Help is still needed with the set-up and clean up.  If you would like to help please contact Dana Hendricks @ 208-604-0065.  This is a great way to get in those last couple of hours to fulfill your service hour commitment – just think you save yourself money by not having to pay the $15.00 per hour charge for hours not completed plus you get a FREE dinner!

Speaking of Service Hours, please turn in your hours of service to the school office so that they can be credited to your account.

SPELL-A-THON

Thank you to our great spellers, and pledge makers for making our Spell-a-thon fundraiser a success.  We made $4,000 for the school!!  Whoo-hoo!!

MISSING

Arne Klutsch in 2nd grade is missing a red, size 8, Columbia brand coat.  Please take a moment to look through your child’s coats to see if it accidentally got mixed up in your child’s things.  This coat was just purchased and Arne’s Mom would be very happy to get it back!

SUMMER LUNCH PROGRAM

With the cost of everything going up – how about saving some money on groceries and having lunch here at the school.  “Chef Rich” will be serving lunch between 11:30 and 12:30 Monday through Friday in the basement of the church for FREE (for anyone under 18 years of age).  The school is paid money from the State for every lunch served, so plan on stopping by.
